Collection: Barbs

Barbs are a diverse group of freshwater fish known for their energetic behavior and vibrant colors, making them a popular choice for community aquariums. They are small to medium-sized fish, often characterized by their torpedo-shaped bodies and schooling nature. Common species like the Tiger Barb, Cherry Barb, and Gold Barb are hardy and adaptable, thriving in a range of water conditions. Barbs prefer aquariums with open swimming areas as well as some plant cover. While generally peaceful, some species can be fin-nippers, so they do best with similarly active or robust tank mates.
